I have known the F family for years and years and it has been so awesome watching these little guys grow up from itty bitty babies to the young children they are today!

I love doing senior portrait photography. I love taking pictures of all kinds but if I was told I could only take one type of picture for the next month, I would probably choose senior portraits. High school seniors are fun and funky…they are continuing to learn about themselves and take fabulous pictures. I have known B for awhile and was so excited when she asked me to take her senior portraits. Isn’t she absolutely amazing?

Hmmm…what a sad little photography blog this is. The last post was June 29, 2009. Yikes! In the past year, a lot has happened. I have quit my job to stay at home with my children. I didn’t stay at home when they were infants and I felt them pulling more and more on my heart strings so after many days and hours or contemplation I am going to stay at home and explore some other avenues. One of those avenues is this photography business.
Over the past year, I have continued to photograph friends and family. Over time, I have found out which types of photography I enjoy the most and I even photographed my first wedding. Thanks for stopping by my blog and I hope that you give me a chance to capture the special moments in your life.
I specialize in on location family photography- babies and toddlers, maternity, families, and senior portraits in Pensacola and surrounding areas.

This week’s challenge at I ♥ Faces is “Let’s Hear It For The Boys” and I have tons of pictures that would fit into this category! It took me forever to pick the ones I wanted to use! For my kid’s category picture, I chose this one of my son at his PreK graduation. I just love the bright red and his sunny smile!

For the adult category, I chose this picture of two guys pouring our freshly picked 18lbs of blueberries into a bag so that we could take them home. They were the nicest family and we love to pick blueberries at their farm!

I have been following I ♥ Faces for quite some time now, but haven’t really thought to enter a photo. Since I am trying to get this photography stuff off the ground, I figured this would be a good way to post on a weekly basis even when I don’t have anything else to write about! I have been learning so much each week as I scroll through each of the photographs. Last week, the guest judge was a photographer from this area whom I greatly admire, Leslie Roark. This week, week 23, the theme is Sepia toned. I have to admit that this is why I chose this week to enter. It is the first time that when I read what the theme was, a particular picture came to mind immediately. This was that picture…this is my Sepia toned Kid’s category entry:

I am constantly using my children and their two cousins as subjects for my photography practice. These pictures are from a photo shoot that we did in honor of Mother’s Day. I had planned on giving the pictures to my mom and my sister for Mother’s Day. After seeing them though, I decided that I couldn’t stand it! I couldn’t wait…I shared them that night!
